It is amazing how much the human body does without you knowing on a daily basis. The human body is underestimated and commonly taken for granted. I came across an interesting explanation of the human body and its many functions and processes. Shared by one of my favourite authors Phillip Day and a committed researcher into health, I hope you enjoy some amazing facts about your body.
The human body has 600 muscles, 1000 miles of blood vessels and 550 arteries that are important enough to be given a name. Lungs are composed of 700,000,000 cells all of which we use to breathe. In seventy years the heart beats 2,500,000,000 times and lifts 500,000 tons of blood. The nervous system is controlled by the brain and has 3,000,000,000,000 nerve cells, 9,200,000,000 of which coverer the brain.
