A ritual many people adopt every morning is starting their day with a coffee. I was partial to drinking a full-cream coffee until I started my transition into veganism. I experimented many mornings with trying different plant-milks to find a prefect alterative for my creamy coffee that I loved.
Whilst celebrating my love for food, I found that one of my favourite café had a selection of plant based milk alternatives. Being coconut crazy as well, I was thrilled to order coconut milk in my double-shot flat white, and I was even happier when it tasted amazing.
Hair Loss Treatments Sydney share Coconut Milk Coffee Recipe:
- Suits vegetarians, vegans or anyone who is lactose intolerant
- Good alternative to dairy milk
- Creates a creamy coffee
- Includes nutritional benefits of coconut
Pure coconut milk has many essential minerals, good fats, vitamins and dietary fibre and provides many health benefits. Including more calcium than milk from a cow and a lower calorie, sugar and fat count, choosing coconut milk is a desired alternative for anyone who is wanting to take out or limit dairy from their dietary choices.
Inspired and excited by the taste of coconut milk in my morning coffee, I tried to recreate the café style coconut milk coffee at home. I researched and chose organic coconut milk in a BPA free can available at my local supermarket. In keeping with the same consistency that cow’s milk provides for my coffee, I found that coconut milk was a perfect match and didn’t give a strong, overpowering or coconut taste. A 400ml can of the coconut milk can make up to five coffees, depending on individual preference and usage. It is so easy to use an alternative from the regular dairy option whatever coffee you prefer.
