Absolique Trichologist “I have studied nutrition many times over my career and have continued to stay up to date with the latest research and science. Most of the fad eating plans fail to fit all nutritional categories so here is an outline of a well-balanced way of eating for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans”. Remove gluten, dairy and sugar, it is not good for anyone and blocks absorption in all humans. Lean and practise food combining, animal proteins don’t work with carbohydrates, these are all the starchy food like pasta, bread, potatoes and foods with high GI. Fruit should not be eaten with any other fruit and any other food. Non-heme iron found in plant proteins are incomplete and need to be combined with another plant protein to make it complete such as vegetables with nuts and seeds, tofu with sesame seeds and pulses with nuts.

Healthy fat is also important to provide Essential Fatty Acids (EFA’s) as they are essential for life, but humans cannot make their own. We need to consume healthy fats and then assimilate them in the right pH balance with enough HCL and bile production to break the good fats down for use by the body. To incorporate good fats into meal planning, try cooking with coconut oil or grass feed organic butter, these are heat stable which is also important. Olive oil is not heat so does not deliver any healthful benefit once heated and could actually turn into a free radical and be damaging to the cells. Cold pressed olive oil can be consumed raw to get the benefits and try to use organic. Eggs also need to be organic to get any nutritional benefit; it is all about what did the chicken eat, this is more than just free range. Fish need to be wild caught, farmed fish are fed grains and antibiotics and have no good fats because they can’t make EFA’s either. More sources of good fats are avocados, nuts, seeds and the associated butters, organic coconut products and other organic oils if raw when consumed.

Protein quantity depends on your eating style, body weight and exercise level and goals. For a guide omnivores should aim for at lese one serving 90g of animal protein a day and try to use a variety of meat, chicken, fish, eggs and have some vegetarian or vegan days because it is hard work for your body digesting animal proteins, let your body have a break. Goal for vegetarians should be at least 2 meals a day with protein either from eggs, fish or combined plant sources to get a complete protein. More attention to complete proteins is required by vegans at each meal especially if there is a deficiency present.

Try not eating the same thing everyday and use a combination of raw and cooked food, even if is simply a sprinkle of fresh herbs on your meals as a garnish. Also important is absorption, you can assist by using apple cider vinegar or lemon juice 20 minutes with water before meals as a pre-digestive or as a marinade or dressing. Heavier proteins may need digestive enzymes depending on how your digestive system responds to things like pulses and lentils, take as directed after meals when needed, not all the time. Digestive enzymes work well https://www.modere.com.au/ProductDetail/digestive-enzymes Modere have a good combination.

Hormone and antibiotic free is important for animal proteins and organic vegetable if you are juicing or making smoothies with any fruits and vegetable consumed in high quantities or used regularly. For soy products they should be only organic, if this is not stated they are from GMO crops which have been proven to impact our hormones and methylation pathway breakdown.

pH perspective, combine acid foods with alkaline food, not acid with acid, alkaline and alkaline works well. Look forward to hunger pains, get good at getting hungry, hunger means firstly you are thirsty, drink some water, if still hungry half and hour later, your body is telling you the previous meal has been digested and the body can handle some more food for absorption. It is not good to eat for the sake of scheduled breakfast, lunch and dinner, listen to your body, you will be amazed how different you feel and the extra energy you will have. Have fun with your food and try to make some changes to get more of what your body needs from the food you consume.
